Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome back to school after what I hope was a great half term break. It’s hard to believe November is here already, and that our heads will soon be full of all things festive!
This week, we felt it was important to talk to the children about the clocks changing and how to stay safe during the darker mornings and evenings.
Your child’s safety and well-being is our number one priority. With this in mind, we are running specific ‘scooter skills’ sessions in the next couple of weeks. Please do encourage your child to take part.
You can find more information about the road safety message ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’ at http://think.direct.gov.uk/education/early-years-and-primary/.
Finally, congratulations and an enormous well done to our boys’ football team who finished second in the league last night. The boys were highly commended for their attitude and sportsmanship. Well done to Jaedon, Sonny, Will, Benji, Mackenzie, Edward, Ollie, Jack and Sam; I am so proud of you. Your turn next week, girls!
I hope you have a lovely weekend.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs A Whistler
Headteacher
