Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you for helping us to make World Book Day special for all our children. We’ve had a huge range of book characters in school today, not least the full cast of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.
Lewis Carroll apparently got his inspiration for the character Alice from Alice Liddell, a member of the distinguished Liddell family who owned nearby Ravensworth Castle in Lamesley for over 300 years.
Here are the staff at Kells Lane attempting to bring this much-loved classic to life.
