Friday Bulletin – Friday 15th July 2016
Thank you for supporting our school sports day on Wednesday. It was wonderful to see so many parents and grandparents enjoying the family atmosphere and cheering the children on. Thank you to the PE department and former Kells Lane pupils at Joseph Swan: you gave us a fantastic sports day, thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Year 6 treated us to an Olympic themed end of year production. This was the perfect choice for our Year 6 children as they have consistently demonstrated their commitment to Olympic and Paralympic values throughout their time at Kells Lane. I have been particularly impressed and inspired by their courage, determination and pursuit of excellence. As I said directly to the children, they have made us proud every single day.
The end of the school year is a time of mixed emotions for many. Ultimately, it is a time for reflection and renewed excitement for the year ahead. I would like to wish all our leavers the very best for the future; I hope you are leaving with fond and long-lasting memories of your time here.
Finally, as this is the last Friday before the end of term, I would like to wish you a happy, peaceful and safe summer holiday.
Mrs A Whistler
