Dear Parents/Carers,
This week we are thrilled to have re-opened our school library to all pupils across the school. Classes have enjoyed spending time in the library to share stories and choose books to loan. Classes should return their library books on the following days:
Mon: Y6 Elm, Y2 & Y3
Tues: Y6 Larch & Y1
Fri: Nursery, Reception, Y5 & Y4
Gateshead Public Health are continuing to monitor restrictions that schools have been asked to have in place with regards to inviting parents/carers into school. We know that for many of you, not knowing what school life is like for your child can be worrying and unsettling. As a school, we will use Twitter on a regular basis to help give you an insight into school life. If you don’t already follow us, you can do so here Kells Lane Primary School (@KLPSgateshead) / Twitter
You may also wish to take a look at the curriculum pages on our school website where you will find an overview of the topics and skills that your child will be covering this year. This can be found under the curriculum tab or by clicking here Wider Curriculum | Kells Lane Primary School (kellslaneschool.org)
Next week, you will receive information on how to book a parent consultation appointment which will be held using Microsoft Teams.
I hope you have a lovely weekend,
Yours sincerely,
Mrs R Swinbank
Acting Headteacher
