Friday Update – 25th September 2020

25 September 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

Your child should now have their own log in details for Google Classroom. This week, the children in Year 5 and Year 6 have been actively exploring Google Classroom and its functions. The children say Google Classroom is ‘easy to use and fun’ and one child commented ‘I still feel part of the class, even when we are apart’.

If your child hasn’t signed in yet, please do encourage them to do it this weekend. This means that if you have any problems, we will be able to rectify this for you next week. If you do have any difficulty signing in, please email your child’s class teacher or email the school at

Some of our usual events and activities scheduled for later this term will be different this year. For example, our parent consultations in November will take place via Microsoft Teams. You will receive details about how to book a slot in the coming weeks. Please see below for other important dates for this term.

Finally, thank you for continuing to support our staggered entry and end of day arrangements. Can I please respectfully remind everyone to maintain social distancing on the playground. Thank you.

I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs A Whistler
