Y5 Larch really enjoyed our recent trip to Lord Lawson to watch their showing of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. It was a fabulous production!
We took the bus first thing in the morning and took the short trip to Birtley for the production. We were so impressed with the quality of acting. We even spotted some familiar faces on stage!
Y5 Larch recently conducted a Scientific Investigation about whether we could clean dirty water and whether these changes were reversible. We loved using the practical resources and getting stuck in!

Y5 Larch were so proud to be the first winners of the OPAL break time award! We won this by working so well and collaboratively with children in other year groups. We won the golden welly as a trophy to celebrate our success!

In maths lessons, we have been using practical resources including counters and masking tape to design our own line graphs. We could choose any topic we wanted as long as it showed time data. We got creative when showing our results!
